SABAH.city is an innovation cluster expected to be launched in 2026 as a result of cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Education with key public and private stakeholders

2024-2026 - Setting the Foundations and
Building Initial Traction

Initial facilities established on approximately 4 hectares of
land, laying the groundwork for future expansion

Key operations such as startup incubators, accelerators, venture studios, venture capital funds, and technology transfer offices established in SABAH.city

Leading public and private educational institutions and innovative companies relocated and established as foundational residents of SABAH.city

Phase 2 : 2026-2029 - Building on Momentum to Scale Up

Developed area expanded to cover approximately 15 hectares, accommodating new structures and enhanced capabilities

Cutting-edge research facilities, state-of-the-art data centers, and advanced co-working spaces established to foster collaboration and innovation in SABAH.city

Leading public and private educational institutions and innovative companies relocated and established as foundational residents of SABAH.city

Phase 3 : 2029+ - Scaling Up Further and Internationalizing

Infrastructure expanded to encompass the full 20 hectares, optimizing the use of space and resources

Innovative international companies welcomed as they establish regional offices, expanding the global footprint of SABAH.city
